Overview of Valloire
Valloire is a pretty and authentic resort in the French Alps and in the Maurienne valley. The resort contains historical treasures including 17 chapels, as well as the Valloire Church which dates back to 1630 and has a beautiful interior. The resort is suited well to beginners and intermediates with a good mix of runs across the mountains. Valloire would also be well suited to families.

Skiing and Boarding in Valloire
When skiing in Valloire you'll have access to 150km of slopes across five mountains. This includes access to the neighbouring resorts of Valmeinier. There are 89 pistes split into 18 green, 30 blue, 32 red and 9 black runs. To access you'll find 31 lifts. For those after some freestyle then head over to the snowpark on Le Crey du Quart. Should the weather be bad and the snow a little thin then no worries as there are 690 snow cannons which cover the entire ski area.
