Les Menuires ski area map overview

The Les Menuires ski area is structured around a central base with two main mountain sides rising on either side of the valley: the Pointe de la Masse sector and the Col de la Chambre sector on the opposite ridge, while lower slopes descend towards Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Its central position within the Les 3 Vallées provides direct connections towards Val Thorens to the north-east and Méribel to the west, making it an efficient base for exploring the wider ski area.

  • At the centre of the map, the Les Menuires village sectors (La Croisette, Reberty, Bruyères and Preyerand) form the main base area. This is where the lift network is most concentrated, with direct ski-in / ski-out access and a high density of green and blue pistes. These lower slopes are primarily dedicated to beginners and early intermediates, with multiple nursery areas and easy progression zones.
  • On the top right-hand side of the map, the Pointe de La Masse sector (up to 2,804 m) stands out as the most elevated and technical area of Les Menuires. This side is characterised by steeper terrain, a higher concentration of red and black pistes, and predominantly north-facing slopes, which ensure strong snow preservation throughout the season. It also includes the Liberty Ride freeride zones, making it particularly attractive for advanced and expert skiers.
  • On the left-hand side of the map, the Col de la Chambre sector (2,850 m) forms the main high-altitude ridge and acts as the key connection point within the wider Les 3 Vallées ski area. This sector offers a wide selection of blue and red pistes across open and sunny terrain, making it ideal for intermediate skiers. It is also the primary route towards both Val Thorens and Méribel, and therefore sees higher skier traffic, supported by a dense and efficient lift network.
  • At the lower left of the map, the slopes descend towards Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, where the terrain becomes more traditional and tree-lined. This area offers quieter skiing conditions, scenic descents and additional access into the Three Valleys, providing a contrast to the busier central sectors.
