40 Years of Ski Holidays in 2022

Skiworld chalked up its 40th year in 2022. For a company like this – fiercely independent and committed to its core values, the reason we can celebrate this anniversary is thanks largely to the trust placed in the brand by you – our customers – that we will always provide ski holidays of quality and affordability, securely backed by ABTA bonding and ATOL protection.

Enduring a multitude of threats to its survival since being founded in 1982 – recession, credit crunches, volcanic ash clouds, Brexit and a pandemic to name a few – Skiworld has remained a steadfastly solid and trusted brand. Throughout the last four decades, the experience and longevity that underpins the Skiworld name, is testimony to the commitment, collective knowledge and skill of all the members of staff who have represented the company in the UK and abroad.

And so to the future. Skiworld’s legacy could be described as a rope, with strands such as the affordable quality we strive to provide our guests, the priceless adventure of a ski season for our seasonaires or the confidence felt by our suppliers that Skiworld is still standing tall after many challenges. Each strand of Skiworld holds equal importance to its integrity and strength, and the 40+ years of careful braiding of fibres has resulted in a rope strong enough to move mountains.

Looking at how far we have come over the last 40 years, we reflected on what makes Skiworld different from the other ski companies out there and keeps us all so passionate about what we do.  The answer was easy - we are truly a company run by skiers for skiers.

What began as one man's love of the mountains now runs in the blood of everyone at Skiworld, and we can't wait to share it with you!  We are Made in the Mountains.

Accommodation Matters

We are one of the largest ski chalet operators in the UK. We're experts at making chalet holidays top quality yet affordable and take great care in our menus and the service we provide.

Skiworld also offers carefully chosen hotels and self-catering apartments throughout the Alps, as well as the USA and Canada. On top of this, we provide self-drive ski packages and tailor-made holidays.

We have over 200 different accommodation options ranging from budget to the truly luxurious. This means we are confident we can offer something to suit you.

Service Matters

Great service (with a smile) matters a lot to us. And good service also means that we make sure we know what we're talking about. We take great care in producing detailed descriptions of every one of our chalets.

Our reservations team are all skiers and boarders. We make sure that we take them to almost all of our chalets and resorts. We have a Customer Standards team to support our resort teams in delivering great service and delicious food. Great service in resort means that our Chalet Hosts and Resort Managers are all highly trained, people-focused and approachable.

Peace of Mind

All flight-inclusive packages offered for sale on our website are financially protected by our ATOL license so you can book with peace of mind knowing your money is safe. 

All other holidays are protected by our ABTA bond and our ABTA number is V2151. 

The air holidays and flights shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 2036. ATOL protection applies primarily to customers who book and pay in the United Kingdom.
