Self catering apartments in France

Ski apartments offer the flexibility of a self-catered holiday, combined with the convenience of having your accommodation, flights and transfers arranged as one package. We carefully select our apartments for their quality, facilities, location and value, with options to suit different budgets, group sizes and styles of holiday.

From comfortable, great-value apartments to luxurious residences with spa and wellness facilities, you'll find properties close to the slopes and lifts, in the heart of the resort or within easy reach of the après-ski action. We also have a selection of Best Buy apartments for those looking to make their budget go further.

Our apartment holidays are available in some of France's most popular and snow-sure resorts, including Tignes, Val d'Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Alpe d'Huez, Samoëns, Serre Chevalier and Montgenèvre. Whether you're travelling as a family, group of friends or couple, our Ski Specialists can help you find the right apartment and resort for your holiday.

All our apartment ski holidays are packages, with flights and shared door-to-door transfers included. Prices also include the airline's standard hold luggage allowance, and you can add extras such as lift passes, ski hire and lessons. If you'd prefer to drive, we can also arrange your apartment holiday without flights.

From the Daria-I Nor in Alpe d'Huez and Kalinda in Tignes 1800 to Village 1950 in Les Arcs and Le Napoléon in Montgenèvre, browse our range of French ski apartments and find your perfect base in the mountains.

How to make a ski aparment more affordable?

There are several ways to keep the cost of a self-catered ski holiday down:

  • Book early - make the most of early-booking offers on accommodation and ski extras such as lift passes and ski hire
  • Choose your apartment carefully - Finding an apartment with a layout that comfortably accommodates your whole group can help keep the cost per person down
  • Consider an all-inclusive ski holiday - Package your lift passes and ski hire with your holiday to make a saving compared with buying them separately. Add them when you book and the price is locked in with your deposit
  • Spread the cost - Use Manage My Booking to make instalment payments that suit you
  • Sign up for Offer Alerts - Get our latest ski deals, tips and early access to selected offers before they're released more widely

Why choose a self-catered ski apartment?

If having your own space and the freedom to plan your days your way is important to you, a self-catered ski apartment could be the perfect choice.

  • Flexibility from morning to night - Without set meal times, you can structure your day however you like. Grab breakfast before an early start, stop for lunch on the mountain or head back to the apartment for a relaxed meal after skiing.
  • Your own space - Apartments give you a home away from home where you can relax between days on the slopes. They're particularly well suited to smaller groups and families who want to spend time together without being tied to a chalet's communal schedule.
  • A choice to suit your budget - Self-catering can be a great way to manage the overall cost of your ski holiday. Choose an apartment that fits your group and budget, then decide where you want to spend your money, whether that's eating out, exploring the resort or making the most of your time on the mountain.
  • Choose how you eat - Cooking for yourself means you can keep things simple and save money, or mix things up with a combination of meals in and nights out. Many resorts also have supermarkets, bakeries and local shops where you can pick up everything you need.

Of course, there's just one important decision left to make: who's cooking?
