And the chalet is just the beginning; indulge in gourmet dining with a lovingly prepared four-course evening meal, paired perfectly with only the finest hand-picked wines.

Our luxury chalets sit across some of the most prestigious resorts in the Alps: Courchevel and Meribel.

In our luxury chalets, exceptional dining begins with exceptional ingredients. We source the finest fresh and local produce each season, from crisp alpine vegetables to artisanal mountain cheeses, bringing authentic regional flavour to every dish.

Our chefs and chalet hosts love to innovate, refining our menus each year to introduce exciting new tastes while staying true to wholesome, comforting cooking. The result is food that feels modern and vibrant yet still familiar and deeply satisfying.

From bespoke breakfasts to indulgent afternoon teas and exquisite multi-course evening meals, every plate is crafted to fuel your days on the slopes and elevate your evenings in the chalet. Expect more courses, more creativity, and little luxuries that transform every meal into an experience, perfectly paired with our hand-selected, gold-standard wines.

Meet the team

“Great chalet food should feel comforting, generous and effortless - the kind of cooking that brings everyone together at the end of a ski day. My aim is to make sure Skiworld guests enjoy food that’s as memorable as the mountains they’re skiing in.” - Lucy Cufflin, Executive Chef

At Skiworld, our chalet menus are created and overseen by Executive Chef Lucy Cufflin, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef with years of hands-on experience cooking in alpine chalets. Lucy designs every menu with skiing in mind - food that’s hearty without being heavy, generous without being fussy, and always designed to be enjoyed together around the chalet table. From recipe development and portion planning to supplier standards and in-resort quality control, she ensures consistency and quality across every Skiworld chalet.

Lucy’s background as a co-founder of Chiswick Cheese Market also brings a deep understanding of ingredients and flavour, subtly elevating classic chalet dishes while keeping them familiar and comforting.

Ensuring every dish delivers

Working closely with Executive Chef Lucy Cufflin and resort teams, Operations Manager Patrick Astle, ensures that every menu is not only creatively designed but operationally deliverable across the Alps, even at the busiest points of the season. At Skiworld, Bailey oversees the in-resort execution of the menu, balancing guest experience with operational efficiency.

He ensures the chalet teams have the clarity, structure and leadership needed to deliver consistent, high-quality dining experiences.

“Exceptional chalet food is about more than great recipes, it’s about strong systems, clear planning and confident teams. My focus is making sure our operations support our hosts, so every guest enjoys a smooth, generous and memorable dining experience.” - Bailery Jannin, Resort Operations Manager

Cheeseboards

All of our luxury properties include a cheeseboard served with port as part of your chalet experience. Each selection is guided by Lucy Cufflin, Skiworld’s Executive Chef and a Member of the Academy of Cheese, ensuring every board reflects both quality and provenance. Where possible, we showcase cheeses local to the Savoie region, bringing a true taste of the mountains to your table.

Examples include:

  • Reblochon, from Haute-Savoie, a classic alpine cheese with a rich, supple texture.
  • Beaufort, which can only be produced in four designated Savoie valleys, this being one of them. The very slopes you ski in winter are the alpine pastures where the cows graze in summer. Beaufort is crafted both in small mountain farms and in seven co-operative dairies across Savoie.
  • Tomme de Savoie, made exclusively within the Savoie region, distinct from other Tomme varieties produced elsewhere in France. It is a simple but meaningful way to connect your chalet dining experience to the landscape that surrounds you.

Luxury Wines

In our luxury chalets, our Signature wine collection is designed to elevate your chalet dining experience. Each bottle is handpicked by our local experts, chosen to bring a step up in richness, elegance and variety. These wines are served throughout your catered evening meals, right through to coffee, so your glass is never far from full as the conversation flows.

The collection includes:

Rosé
Arnaud IGP Var Rosé, Côtes de Provence
Delicately pale pink in the glass, this Provence rosé is elegant and beautifully balanced. Expect floral aromas and fresh red fruit, with a lovely intensity and crisp finish. Effortlessly drinkable and perfect as an apéritif or alongside lighter dishes.

White
Château Fondarzac, Entre-Deux-Mers
Light, smooth and refreshing, with zesty lemon, apricot and pear notes. Medium acidity and gentle minerality make it an ideal partner for seafood, white fish and alpine-inspired starters.

White
Orée de la Chênaie Ugni Blanc, IGP Gascogne
Floral and fruit forward, this well rounded white offers bright freshness and easy charm. Enjoy on its own or paired with chicken dishes and salads.

White
1612 Grand Viognier Cuvée
Aromatic and expressive, with classic Viognier notes of white flowers and lychee. Well rounded with a subtle softness, it adds a touch of richness to the table.

Red
Bordeaux de Luze Terra Vitis Rouge
Produced using sustainable Terra Vitis principles that combine organic and traditional agriculture, this classic Bordeaux delivers black fruit character, structured tannins and balanced acidity with a touch of minerality.

Red
Château Gendre, Graves Rouge
A bold Bordeaux Graves blend, dry and confidently structured. Dark fruit flavours and firm tannins make it a natural companion to red meat dishes and heartier alpine fare.

Red
Domaine des Colombettes, Lirac 2017 Rouge
Full bodied and generous, with deep aromas of ripe dark fruit, spice and a hint of leather. Rich, balanced and made for long, relaxed chalet dinners.

Together, this curated selection brings depth and versatility to your evenings in the chalet, complementing Lucy’s menus and enhancing every course. It's another way our Signature Service ensures your chalet dining feels considered, indulgent and unmistakably Skiworld.
