One of Cortina’s historic hotels, the family-run Menardi combines traditional Ampezzo character with modern comforts. Set in a peaceful private park just 1km from the centre, it is only around 300m from the Freccia nel Cielo lifts and has a ski bus stop directly outside. With 49 comfortable rooms, a welcoming bar and restaurant serving Italian and local specialities, plus a wellness centre with sauna, hydromassage and Turkish bath, it makes a great base for exploring Cortina.
A Cortina Classic - One of Cortina’s two remaining Historic Italian Establishments, the Menardi dates back to the 19th century and retains plenty of authentic Ampezzo character. The main hotel and newer annexe sit in a peaceful private park, with cosy traditional interiors, a bar, restaurant and wine cellar.
