Breakfast: Start Every Day Right

Enjoy a hearty continental breakfast served every morning, with a wide selection of breads, pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. On five days a week, your chalet hosts prepare fresh hot breakfast options differing daily and perfect fuel for a full day on the mountain.

On hosts’ day off, a continental layout is provided for you to help yourself.

Afternoon Tea: Your Post-Ski Treat

Across all catered chalets, six afternoons a week you’ll return to the irresistible smell of homemade cakes, bakes or sweet treats alongside tea and coffee – one of the true hallmarks of a traditional catered chalet holiday.

Evening Meals & Wine: The Heart of Chalet Dining

For six nights of your stay, sit down to a welcoming, sociable evening of great food and flowing wine. Depending on your chalet grade, you’ll enjoy either a three- or four-course dinner on most evenings, as well as a two-course Alpine speciality night, all rounded off with coffee. Complimentary Silver or Gold wines (according to your chalet grade) are served throughout each meal.

• Simple packed lunch on departure day

• Six nights fully catered:
  • Aperitifs and canapés every evening
  • Four-course gourmet evening meals, with cheeseboard, port and after dinner chocolates on five nights

Wine Collections in our Ski Chalets

Wine is an essential part of the classic catered ski chalet experience. Our Wine Collection features a hand-picked range of regional favourites selected by local experts.

We offer two grades of wine depending on your chalet category:

Silver Wine (Included in Grade 3-5 Chalets)

Served with your catered evening meals until coffee:

• Red, La Belle Emilie Rouge - Southern French blend with warm spice and red fruit.
• White, La Belle Emilie Blanc - Fruity, elegant and refreshing; great with or without food.
• Rosé, La Belle Emilie Rosé - Light, clean and packed with berry notes.

Gold Wine (Included in 5+ Grade Luxury Chalets)

Premium wines for guests looking for a more refined dining experience. Served for the duration of your catered evening meals, until coffee.

Examples from our rotating selection:

• Rosé, Arnaud IGP Var Rose (Cote de Provence) - Elegant and floral with a fresh finish. A little too easy to drink!
• Red, Bordeau de Luze Terra Vitis Rouge - Organic, structured and full of dark fruits.
• White, Chateau Fondarzac Entre Deuz Mers - Light and smooth with medium acidity and minerality. Zesty lemon, apricots and pear round out this little gem.
• Red, Chateau Gendre Graves Rouge - Bold, classic Cab-Sav blend.
• White, Oree de la Chenaie Ugni Blanc IGP Gascogne - Floral, fruity and rounded.

Guests staying in French Grade 3–5 chalets can upgrade to our Gold Wine Collection (minimum six bottles). You can choose red, white, rosé or a mixed case – hand-picked by our local wine experts, subject to local availability.

• Port, Cruz Tawny Port - Rich, sweet and well balanced with red fruit character.

Extra Ski Chalet Holiday Perks

Door-to-Door Transfers

If you book a standard Skiworld holiday including flights, we provide door-to-door resort transfers wherever local conditions allow. Your transfer – or private transfer if booked – will drop you at, and collect you from, your ski chalet without the hassle of scheduled buses, queues or long waits.

Under exceptional weather conditions (such as heavy snowfall or road closures), vehicles may not be able to reach the chalet door. In these rare cases, we will take you as close as safely possible.

Chalet Housekeeping

All chalet communal areas are cleaned and tidied daily, except on staff days off. Bathrooms receive a mid-week clean, and bins are emptied regularly.

In our luxury ski chalets, bedrooms are also cleaned and tidied daily (excluding staff days off) for an extra touch of comfort.
