Ski chalets in Austria

austria ski chalets

Our ski chalets in Austria are located in only the top snow-sure ski resorts offering the pinacle of Austrian ski holiday experiences. Each property offers a cosy home-from-home accommodation including catering consisting of breakfast, afternoon tea & cake and evening meals, including wine.

Most Austrian ski resorts are evocative of the traditional alpine image of villages in valley basins, with tree-lined mountains towering overhead. Whilst lower in altitude than most French resorts, the Austrians have impressive snowmaking facilities on lower slopes to make up for any shortfall in snow and enable a December to April ski season. In addition, some Austrian ski resorts boast top-notch glacier skiing to rival any resort in the world.

3 reasons for a ski chalet holiday to Austria

  1. Alpine Traditions – From architecture to food to the typically friendly Austrian hospitality, there is something unique and incomparable about Austrian ski villages - you just have to experience it.
  2. Challenging Skiing – It's often said that skiing in Austria is challenging, but that shouldn't put you off if you're a novice. The emphasis is on improving your skills and technique at any level. There are plenty of green pistes to get your ski legs, but the spirit of adventure will have you progressing to blue, red and black slopes quicker than you thought... .
  3. Après, Après, Après! – If there's one thing Austrian resorts do better than skiing, it's après skiing! Whether on the mountain or in the resort villages, once the lifts close for the day, the party well and truly gets started.
