At Skiworld, we don’t just sell ski holidays – we live them. Founded in 1982 by Ian Coleby, a passionate skier who still sits as our Chairman today, Skiworld was born from a love of the mountains and a belief that ski holidays should be created by skiers, for skiers. More than 40 winters later, that belief still runs through everything we do.

Our ethos

From one man’s idea in the Alps to the UK’s largest independent ski chalet specialist, our journey has been shaped by the same values that inspired us on day one: passion, expertise, and a love for fresh tracks.

We’ve weathered recessions, ash clouds, Brexit, and even a pandemic – and we’re proud to still be here, stronger than ever, with five consecutive British Travel Awards under our belts (2020–2024).

Once you're in the mountains, that personal service continues. Our resort teams meet all our chalet guests at the airport, are available by phone throughout your holiday, and can be found face-to-face in each of our ten snow-sure chalet resorts.
