Skiing in January is a no-brainer... Here's why

Four great reasons to go skiing in January

Lower Prices - Traditionally, January ski holidays have always been a less expensive than other months - this is mainly due to being sandwiched between Christmas and Feb Half Term. If you have the flexibility to travel in January, you'll probably bag yourself a bargain.
- Catered chalets offer the ultimate value ski holiday - flights, transfers, accommodation (book a whole chalet, or room-by-room depending on your group size), plus chalet catering which includes wine with dinner.
- Ski Apartments provide you the best range of property sizes, locations, standards and of course prices. By choosing carefully you can find apartments that can accommodate larger groups comfortably, thereby allowing you to drive down the per person cost.
- Hotels offer a superb variety of amenities and services depending on what and where you book. Choose from very basic room-only properties, to luxurious five-star hotels with every bell and whistle you can imagine!
Loads of Snow - Right in the heart of winter, January sees some of the best skiing conditions of the whole season, consistently. The temperature is usually low which maintains the base snow, and snowfall is frequent. The cold temperatures keep the snow nice and dry too, so you might find the search for that sometimes elusive powder day is much easier in January than any other month.
Less Busy Slopes - With minimal school holidays occuring in January - both in the UK and Europe - ski resorts and ski slopes have a much less frenetic vibe. You'll have more space on the slopes, shorter queues for lifts and less waiting at the bar for that all-important apres beverage!
Lots of Offers - 'January Sale' is a phrase we're all used to as Christmas celebrations come to a close. When it comes to booking a ski holiday, you'll also find there are always deals to be had for January which can help drive down the price of your holiday even further. You could book late and get a Last Minute Deal, or book in advance and make a huge saving on a Ski All-In Package including lift passes and ski hire (or ski carriage).
