"What a weekend! Three nights in Alta Badia, one of the most magical places on earth. We belly-laughed, danced, ate the most incredible food, drank delicious wines, stayed in the friendliest, most beautiful hotel at Ciasa Salares, lounged in their hot tub under the falling snow, enjoyed apres ski, oh and OF COURSE skied the glorious slopes of Alta Badia guided by the loveliest ski guides! I can’t believe it was only one weekend and not a fortnight! A jam-packed programme, every single aspect was taken care of so that guests could kick back and simply enjoy every single second of the experience. But the icing on the cake – getting to know wonderful women - it’s a wonderful thing when we come together. Truly a blast – so much more than a ski weekend… back next year, yeah?"
As mentioned in the Sunday Times article "ASki Weekend with Katie & Mizz" will return to Alta Badia’s slopes in 2025 – to secure a spot, call Skiworld on 0330 102 8004 for more details and to hold your place. Details will be available shortly.
Following the sell-out successes of our first two, brilliant ski weekends, Katie and Mizz are back to host another three days and nights of fun on the slopes of Alta Badia, high in the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomite mountains.
Taking place in 2025 (date TBC), Katie (@comedowntothewoods) and best friend Mizz (@mizzknits) will host a weekend full of great skiing, delicious food and brilliant Alta Badia experiences…. most importantly, all enjoyed alongside a fabulous group. Whether you want to come alone, with a friend, or with a group, you will instantly make new friends, and this will be a weekend break to remember, full of fabulous laughter and fun, all set in the jaw-dropping setting of Alta Badia.
During the three-night break in January 2024, the group skied some of the world’s prettiest runs, including the world-famous Sellaronda circuit and the stunning Lagazoi ski tour, often said to be one of the most beautiful in the world, ending with a magical horse-drawn lift.
There was foodie treats aplenty, with lunches at some of Alta Badia’s best gourmet mountain huts, famed for their collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs, and dinners celebrating the best of Italian cuisine, including a final night dinner and dancing at mountaintop Club Moritizino, complete with return snow cat mountain transfers.
The trip is open to beginners as well as those confident on blue runs or above, but we will need at least six beginners to book for this to be possible. Inclusions in our trip are listed below, with flights, transfers, three-night luxury accommodation at Ciasa Salares including use of the pool and spa, ski passes, 2.5 days guided skiing in ability groups, daily breakfast, two lunches and three delicious dinners all included. The only extras to cover will be additional drinks or treats, or anything in addition to that listed.
This break will sell out fast, so don’t delay if you fancy coming along. We can’t wait, and look forward to seeing you there!
