Avoriaz
Avoriaz is essentially a pedestrian-only resort, designed from the ground up for ski-in/ski-out convenience. Its modern, purpose-built village has plenty of character, with wood-clad Alpine buildings framed by the surrounding mountains. A hotspot for freestyle skiers and snowboarders, it boasts three major snowparks, making it a true Mecca for anyone chasing jumps, rails, and terrain park fun.
But Avoriaz isn’t just about skiing; the resort is all about fun, on and off the slopes. From a range of no-ski activities to Aquariaz, its huge indoor water park, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained after a day on the mountain.

Les Gets
Les Gets is a family favourite, thanks to its thoughtful, compact layout and excellent infrastructure. Most accommodation sits just steps from the lifts, and the beginner slopes are impeccably groomed, making it ideal for little ones or anyone finding their ski legs.
But don’t think it’s just for novices. experienced skiers are well catered for too. Access to the Mont Chery ski area is straightforward, opening up a wealth of challenging red and black runs, as well as some tempting off-piste terrain. Les Gets really does offer the best of both worlds for families and seasoned skiers alike.
