Ski Rep Jobs

The ideal Resort Host (you may be more familar with 'Ski Rep') with Skiworld will be a people person, someone who can deal with anything. If you can communicate with guests and suppliers in a professional manner whilst remaining calm and in control at all times with a reassuring smile this could be the winter job you are looking for.
The role is officially 5 days a week however, a great resort host will make themselves available 24hrs a day 7 days a week for emergencies.

The skills we are looking for involve multi tasking, sales and great customer service. You must be willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests are happy and relaxed and that all their needs are being catered for. Every day is different. You will need to be well organised and efficient, especially with paperwork. Each day could see you being a translator, entertainer and sales person. You need to be a confident, outgoing person with excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work within a team.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Guest welfare
• Organising lift passes, ski hire and lessons
• Airport transfers
• Daily visits to your chalets
• Organise and operate a successful après ski programme
• Assisting the chalet manager with the distribution of chalet supplies e.g. wine, linen, cleaning products and frozen food

On a day to day basis you will assist our guests with all their requirements, problems and difficulties. Each working day you will be expected to visit all of your chalets to see your guests. This is the time when you can chat to them, ask them about their day skiing and to suggest après ski activities. The perfect opportunity to get to know your guests. It also allows them to come and talk to you.
