We all think we have the perfect formula for grabbing the best holiday deal. However, if you’re one that waits in the wings to hoover up the best-selling apartments in a last-minute deal, you may not even know what you’re missing out on.
There are certain properties that are swept up by the early birds long before you can use that ‘late deals hoover’. This is especially true with the larger apartments.
Ski Apartments are becoming more diverse by the season, with some fantastic facilities on offer. This means there is something for all group types, but you need to be quick to secure them for yourself.
Read on to get the inside scoop of the best-selling apartments for the 2022/23 season.

Residence Le Sun Valley, La Plagne
An absolute do-not-miss for the largest groups, located in a ski-in/ski-out position in Plagne Soleil.
The largest apartments in the Residence Le Sun Valley sleep up to 14 in six bedrooms, along with options for groups of 12 all the way down to two. The biggest apartments are often the most sought-after and will be snapped up in no time.
There is however no shortage of group meeting points here- just take your pick from the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, restaurant (the list goes on) …
Le Village 1950, Les Arcs
There is a lot to like here. Le Village 1950 is found in a pedestrianised ski village in the heart of Les Arcs 1950. Everything is right on the doorstep (including the slopes) and there are of course large apartments on offer.
Groups of up to 10 can take their pick from different apartment types with one to four bedrooms. Each size has three standards to choose from, giving the option of more space if needed.
There is a North American influence here, with some real luxury and exciting facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, steam room and hot tub.
Great for Families
Residence Plagne Lauze, La Plagne
An ideal choice for smaller family groups in Plagne 1800. Studio and one-bedroom apartments, sleeping two to five give a great value base to get out and enjoy the slopes of the Paradiski.
After a day cruising the pistes, the kids can wear themselves out in the outdoor heated swimming pool whilst you recuperate in the sauna. Access to the squash court and games room will also be included at the Residence Plagne Lauze.
Le Cristal De L’Alpe Apartments, Alpe d’Huez
Another one for the families, but with a few more bedrooms and a bit more comfort. These apartments are some of the most luxurious in Alpe D’Huez.
Whether your group is small or larger there are options at Le Cristal De L’Alpe Apartments, with one to three bedrooms available, sleeping up to eight. For any kids in the party, there is a children’s pool, alongside the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. Another plus for any kids or beginners- the ski school meeting point is close by, meaning everyone can enjoy the pistes of the Tignes-Val d’Isere ski area.
Les Cimes Blanches, La Rosiere
Looking for a quieter resort, but don’t want to slack on the amenities at your disposal? La Rosiere and Le Cimes Blanches may just be the answer.
In a tranquil spot, above the Les Eucherts part of town, Les Cimes Blanches houses one, two and three-bedroom apartments. As you would expect from a property of this quality, the apartments are furnished to a high standard and there are plenty of non-skiing activities for the time off the slopes.
Even with all the facilities offered (including the swimming pool and hot tub), the location to the slopes and the town is not compromised. The pistes and the town centre are just a 150m walk away.
Les Granges Du Soleil, La Plagne
The last stop on our list, but still one of the first apartments to go. Les Granges Du Soleil sits (as the name suggests) in Plagne Soleil.
Apartments with one to three bedrooms, give ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes and amazing views of the surrounding mountains, adding up to a very luxurious feel. The luxury also makes its way through to the spa area, with a generous swimming pool, sauna, steam bath and more.
You can bet all these apartments are already bookmarked in the web browsers of many avid skiers. So if you want to secure any of them for the coming season then don’t hang around for too long.
