Easter 2026 Special Offer – Perfect for Skiing Families. Book by 31st May 2025
Our Sales and Operations Manager, Miles, recently returned from a memorable Easter family ski holiday at the stylish slopeside Residence La Cime des Arcs, nestled right in the heart of Les Arcs 2000. We caught up with him to hear exactly why he believes this hidden gem in the Paradiski area is a standout destination for a late-season family ski holiday.
Why Choose Les Arcs 2000 for Your Next Easter Family Ski Holiday?
Snow-sure Slopes – Even in Spring
Les Arcs boasts an impressive altitude range from 1,200m up to 3,226m, offering fantastic snow reliability well into the spring season. With the majority of the ski terrain situated above 2,000m and many north-facing runs, snow conditions hold up remarkably well even during warmer spells.
Even though it hadn’t snowed for a little while, we were welcomed with bright blue skies, plenty of snow coverage, and excellently maintained pistes. It was ideal for skiing with young children—not too icy in the mornings, and soft enough by the afternoon for relaxed cruising.
Whether you’re confident on reds or sticking to gentle blues, the high-altitude setting of Les Arcs 2000 makes it an excellent choice for families looking for dependable skiing in the Easter holidays, without the crowds of peak season.
Quieter, More Relaxed Skiing
As a parent navigating the school holiday calendar, I’ve come to appreciate Easter as one of the best times to hit the slopes. Unlike the hustle and bustle of Christmas or February half-term, the atmosphere in Les Arcs 2000 over Easter is refreshingly calm.
The pistes are noticeably quieter, meaning fewer lift queues and more space to ski at your own pace, especially reassuring when you’re skiing with children. It makes the whole experience feel less rushed and more enjoyable for the entire family.
What’s more, the longer, sunnier days add an extra layer of comfort. Milder temperatures mean less bundling up, fewer complaints from cold little fingers, and more opportunities to soak up the mountain sunshine. Whether it’s leisurely mornings on the slopes or relaxed lunches on a sun-drenched terrace, Easter skiing in Les Arcs offers a pace that’s ideal for families.

Fantastic Ski School Experience
We enrolled the kids in group lessons with Ski Supreme, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more. Unlike other ski schools we’ve tried in the past, the group sizes were reassuringly small (a maximum of six children), which meant more personal attention and faster progress.
The instructor was not only highly skilled but also warm, engaging, and genuinely passionate about teaching. Most importantly, they made learning fun. Each morning, the kids were buzzing with excitement to hit the slopes, and by the end of the week, their confidence had skyrocketed. They were so proud of their medals, which added a lovely sense of achievement to the trip.
More Than Just Skiing
Les Arcs truly shines when it comes to family-friendly experiences, offering far more than just great skiing. Many of the extra activities are free or included in your lift pass, which makes exploring even easier. Some of our family favourites included:
-
The Immersive Light and Sound Show at the top of the Varet gondola—a magical spectacle with panoramic views of Mont Blanc.
-
The Mountain Animal Museum at the top of the Vallandry lift—fun, educational, and a great break from skiing.
-
The Mille8 freestyle area in Les Arcs 1800—packed with fun features the kids loved, from mini jumps to snow tunnels.
-
For adrenaline seekers: the sledging track and thrilling zip line in Arc 2000 looked incredible (we didn’t try them this time, but they’re definitely on our list for next time!).
Top planning tip: When you book with Skiworld, you’ll receive a detailed resort guide ahead of your trip. It was super helpful for planning our days and discovering hidden gems we might have otherwise missed.

Top Tip: Stay Ski In/Ski Out
If there’s one piece of advice I’d give to parents when planning an Easter family ski holiday, it’s this: stay ski-in/ski-out. Being close to the slopes and the ski school makes a huge difference, especially with kids in tow.
We opted for a self-catered apartment this time round with a stay at Residence La Cime des Arcs, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. Just a few steps from the ski room, we were straight onto the piste and even closer to the lifts and ski school meeting point. No resort buses, no heavy lifting, no tears—just smooth, easy mornings and more time on the snow.
So Why Book an Easter Family Ski Holiday to Les Arcs 2000?
Les Arcs 2000 delivered on every front: great snow, fewer crowds, superb ski instruction, and a wealth of family-friendly activities. Add in the convenience of high-altitude skiing and the relaxed Easter atmosphere, and it’s hard to beat for a late-season family getaway.
If you’re looking for a stress-free, fun-filled Easter ski holiday that works for the whole family, Les Arcs 2000 should be right at the top of your list.
