Beginner Ski Programme

WHAT IS THE BEGINNER SKI PROGRAMME?

Everyone at Skiworld loves skiing and because we are so passionate about the mountains, we want to introduce as many new people to skiing as possible... and if we can provide a way back to the slopes for those who have had a few years off, then that's great too!

in detail...

Location: La Rosiere

Located in the Tarentaise valley, La Rosiere ski resort is made up of two villages, the original La Rosiere Centre and the newer La Rosiere chalets of Les Eucherts, linked by a lovely level path through the trees, the free bus service or the pleasant pistes above. The locals are very passionate about their resort and all that sun keeps everyone in a good mood, this is one smiley ski station.

Why La Rosiere?
We have carefully selected the best resort for a beginner ski week and built a ski programme around it. La Rosiere is an excellent choice because of the large number of green and blue runs it has. With south-facing slopes it is also more likely to see more sun, which can make a big difference when starting out on a pair of skis. This resort is also blessed with being extremely picturesque... so if you do find yourself on your bum, as we all do from time-to-time, it won't be the worst place to look up and take in your surroundings as you could be facing some of Europe's most famous mountains in the form of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and Monterosa.

accommodation: Chalets moet and marmotte

These chalet apartments offer guests the perfect tranquil location away from the busy town centre, yet in the heart of the Les Eucherts ski village where all standards of skier can almost ski back to the door in normal snow conditions. These chalet apartments are comfortably furnished and decorated in a traditional yet modern Savoyard style, mixing local wooden décor with modern colourful furnishings. The living/dining areas are spacious and comfortable and all have a wood burning stove, television and balcony.  All bedrooms are en suite with Jacuzzi bath and WC.

Why Chalets?
We believe that chalet holidays are the best type of holidays for learning as you can meet like-minded skiers and discuss your experiences with each other. A chalet can also provide a home away from home whilst having the luxury of your meals cooked for you... so you can save your energy for the slopes!
