Location: La Rosiere
Located in the Tarentaise valley, La Rosiere ski resort is made up of two villages, the original La Rosiere Centre and the newer La Rosiere chalets of Les Eucherts, linked by a lovely level path through the trees, the free bus service or the pleasant pistes above. The locals are very passionate about their resort and all that sun keeps everyone in a good mood, this is one smiley ski station.
Why La Rosiere?
We have carefully selected the best resort for a beginner ski week and built a ski programme around it. La Rosiere is an excellent choice because of the large number of green and blue runs it has. With south-facing slopes it is also more likely to see more sun, which can make a big difference when starting out on a pair of skis. This resort is also blessed with being extremely picturesque... so if you do find yourself on your bum, as we all do from time-to-time, it won't be the worst place to look up and take in your surroundings as you could be facing some of Europe's most famous mountains in the form of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and Monterosa.
We believe that chalet holidays are the best type of holidays for learning as you can meet like-minded skiers and discuss your experiences with each other. A chalet can also provide a home away from home whilst having the luxury of your meals cooked for you... so you can save your energy for the slopes!
Both Chalet Moet and Marmotte are priced the same for both packages. All prices are based on two people sharing an en-suite twin room.
THE SHORT TASTER SESSION - 5 days, 4 nights and 3 days skiing – Many people who are thinking of skiing for the first time a unsure as to whether or not they will enjoy the experience. For those people, the short taster session is an ideal introduction into skiing.
THE BEGINNER WEEK - 8 days, 7 nights and 6 days skiing – For our week course we have picked a later date in the season for the longer, warmer days ideal for those wanting to make ultimate progress.
This offer is only available to book through one of our Ski Gurus so that you can make use of their expert advice on beginner skiing. You'll also need to talk to them so that they can ensure that you are placed into the right ski lesson for you.
