Great Snow Record

Snowfall has been on the up, and up, and up over there, so this is the perfect time and season to head state side!

Vail and Beaver Creek both had major snow last season and Breckenridge even witnessed a doubling in snowfall from 09/10 to 10/11 boasting a great 1206cm of snowfall throughout last season, a NEW RECORD for the resort!

Now I'm no mathematician, but I can see a trend pointing up towards the snowy clowds suggesting Colorado's season 2011/12 is going to be a powderful one! And guess what, it has already been snowing over there this year... another sign of things to come!

Events

Vail's Snowdaze (December 5th - 11th): The event that kicks off the season, a series of concerts and other exciting things.

Vail Family Holidaze (December 18th - 25th): Vail comes alive with ice shows, Santas workshop, kids bands and other events, making it ideal for a Christmas family celebration.

Breckenridge's 50th Birthday (16th December): Celebrating its opening back in 1961 and how it has grown into a renowned ski town and popular haven for Brits. Catch The Winter Dew Tour during this period, a series of slope style and superpipe events where top athletes compete.
