The Sonnenalp is a European themed hotel located in the heart of Vail Village. It has a prime position for the skiing with only a 4 minute (approx) walk away from the Vista Bahn Lift and minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants.

Description

Inside, the property has an intimate boutique atmosphere all laid out with custom–made traditional Bavarian furniture. With its magnificent views and relaxed atmosphere the Sonnenalp Resort & Spa is the perfect retreat for a skiing holiday.

Guest facilities include a European style Spa with a Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and plunge pool, heated indoor and outdoor pools with relaxing waterfall, treatments (payable locally) and fitness centre. The property has its own old world style library with roaring fireplace, ideal for curling up with a good book on a snowy winter’s afternoon, plus 5 restaurants including the Swiss Chalet – featuring the traditional European alpine cuisine, cheese fondue, and the Kings Club with live entertainment which is ideal for après ski. Other amenities include complimentary ski lockers on the mountain and 24 hr concierge service.

The hotel has 115 Suites and 12 Hotel rooms, breakfast is not included although can be added for an extra charge. All rooms have a TV, telephone, mini bar, complementary WiFi and heated marble floors in the bathroom. Suites feature a gas log fireplace and vary in size. Rooms range from the Juniper hotel room all the way up to 2 bedroom suites. Each suite varies in size and amenities.
