The Wort in downtown Jackson Hole is close to the old square. The free shuttle bus takes skiers to Teton Village and Snow King (a 5 minute (approx) ride to Snow King or 15-20 minutes (approx) to Teton Village).

Description

If you are looking for a true taste of historic America right in the centre of Jackson Hole, then look no further. The Wort Hotel was Jackson’s first luxury hotel and offers old fashioned exceptional Western hospitality. The rooms are decorated in grand artwork, Lodgepole Pine furniture and traditional colourful western fabrics. The hotel is also home to the famous Silver Dollar Bar, one of Jacksons most popular. The ‘Silver Dollar’ bar is the Worts trademark and is decorated with over 2000 original silver dollars. It is a firm favourite with its happy hour, big screen entertainment and live music.

The Wort really is something special. In fact the National Geographic named The Wort among its ‘50 Great Inns of America’.

Guests of the Wort can enjoy the complimentary wine and cheese reception every Thursday evening, and the complimentary après ski every afternoon with hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies. WiFi internet is also complimentary as well as ski storage and self parking.

The hotel has 59 rooms in total and each is uniquely furnished. All have a TV, telephone, bathrobes, hairdryer and a tea and coffee maker. Rooms range from a Deluxe room up to Signature Theme suites.

Accommodation: Deluxe rooms have either 2 queens or a king bed, en-suite bathrooms, cable TV and coffee making facilities. Large rooms and suites are also available.
