Christmas Ski Holidays 2016

Christmas ski holiday 2015 in resort

It really is the most magical time of the year!

Whether taking a holiday with your family or with a group of friends, here at Skiworld we've thought of everything to make sure you enjoy a seamless and unforgettable festive holiday experience.
What better way to spend Christmas then in a winter wonderland enjoying a superb day on the slopes followed by an evening of great food and an open fire?

For the 2016/17 ski season, we're launching 20 new chalets in various resorts across the Alps

Christmas falls on a Sunday this year which meant our normal departure date would have had you travelling on Christmas Eve… Because we’re not daft, we’ve moved the travel date to Tuesday 20th December so that you’re not travelling when you should be getting into the festive spirit.
This has been organised for our entire European programme, so Christmas ski holidays to France, Switzerland and Austria can avoid the weekend rush this festive period.
The Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th are also bank holidays, so you don’t have to take them out of your annual leave – that’s what we like to call a win-win.

For some people though it is all about the skiing.

Take a look our blog about 'Why Take a Christmas Holiday with Skiworld'

You can guarantee a white Christmas this year by booking a Skiworld holiday for you and your family or friends. With plenty of options for where to spend your Christmas ski break and a huge variety of accommodation to choose from, it’s never been easier to organize a memorable December ski holiday. Whether you are after a tradition chalet with wood log fire, a modern hotel with luxury trimmings or a self-catered apartment for a flexible holiday - We have something to suit everyone!

Relax and enjoy a special Christmas in a Skiworld chalet. Just because you're away from home doesn't mean the kids will be forgotten by Santa; you can take them away on a magical Christmas ski trip and still enjoy the festive perks!

Before bed on that special eve, be sure to leave out a glass of sherry, a few mince pies and (of course) a nice juicy carrot for our visitor’s red nosed friend and maybe, as long as everyone is good of course…there might be a little something under the tree when the children wake up...

During selected dates in December, Father Christmas dons his skis as he travels to all of our European catered chalets to bring children aged 2 -11 a small gift to help make Christmas in the snow REALLY SPECIAL!

Being away from home on Christmas Day doesn't have to mean missing out on one of the best parts of the occasion. All of our Catered Chalet Holidays enjoy a mouth watering 3 course traditional Christmas dinner with crackers and complimentary glass of Bucks Fizz. Surrounded by our traditional decorations, nibbling Christmas cakes and sipping mulled wine, after a long day on the slopes you will be sure to unwind this festive season.
Check out our delicious menu options and the cosy festive addition that we've made to our ski chalets below.

We all know Christmas can be as much hard work as it is fun, but that shouldn't be the case when you're on holiday. Skiworld offer a variety of accommodation for ski holidays at Christmas to ensure that your break is both rejuvenating and exciting - but it's our catered ski chalets that really allow you to barely lift a finger if you don't want to. So why not enjoy the exhilaration of skiing without having to worry about whose job it is to cook the turkey!

Particulary if you are after a family Christmas atmosphere to go along with your skiing holiday, chalet accommodation is the perfect choice for a relaxed, homely stay. Many of our chalets benefit from beautiful views and are often perfectly located for both the skiing and the après ski.  Our chalets are fully catered and cots, highchairs and a special high tea can be provided for children.

All of our Catered Chalet Holidays enjoy a mouth watering 3 course traditional Christmas dinner (in our 'Classic' chalets) and 4 courses in our 'Superior' and 'Signature' chalets. All with crackers and free-flowing wine. With our traditional decorations, Christmas cakes and mulled wine, after a long day on the slopes you will be sure to unwind this festive season.
