Resort Positions

We are now accepting applications for the 2012/13 season. All applications will be reviewed and those that are successful will hear back from us by early June.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!

The work

Whichever role you decide to apply for, the work will be hard and there will be long days.  However, these days are quickly forgotten about once you feel the snow under your feet and you’re enjoying breathtaking views.  Equally, with a team like ours supporting you, you will never be left to fend for yourself in a difficult situation.

Winter seasons are also a fantastic way to gain a whole range of transferable skills which set your CV apart from all others no matter what area of work you are hoping to go into afterwards. As a chalet host you are effectively running your own small business and doing all you can to ensure the smooth running of it. This experience will give you the confidence to deal with all manner of people and problems, and improve your time-management, budgeting and decision making skills.

The Deal

It's a well known fact that no-one does this for the money. You do it for the love of the snow, the socialising and the rewards gained from a season in the mountains. That said, we review our pay and benefits annually and ensure we remain competitive and fair. And when you consider the whole package, we think you won't be disappointed.

You get:

  •     Season ski pass
  •     Ski or snowboard equipment for the season
  •     Insurance which covers off piste
  •     Return travel from the UK
  •     Accommodation
  •     Food
  •     Holiday Pay
  •     Up to 10% holiday discount for friends and family
  •     Uniform
  •     Performance related bonuses
  •     Sales commission (certain sales roles only)
  •     Loyalty bonus for returning staff
  •     Monthly salary (NONE of which is withheld during the season)

Who should apply

All applicants for European positions must have:
  •     A permanent National Insurance number
  •     An EHIC card
  •     A UK or EU passport
  •     A UK contact address
  •     A UK bank account

All applicants for North America positions must:

  •     Be at least 25 (for car hire purposes) and hold a full clean driving licence.
  •     All applicants for Whistler must be in possession of a Canadian Working Visa.

All applicants need to be available to work for the entire ski season which runs from mid November until the end of April. If you are not available from the start of the season you can join the reserve list, but you must be available to work until the end of the season. You cannot take a holiday during the season, but holiday pay is awarded at the end of the season in lieu of this.
