What deposit do I need to pay, and when?

Our standard deposit is £150 per person, however for groups of 18 or more we can offer a lower deposit of £120 per person.

When is the remaining balance due?

The final balance is due 10 weeks before departure.

How can I arrange payment?

You can either pay over the phone by debit or credit card (charges apply to credit card payments), pay by internet bank transfer or send us a cheque.

Can I make changes to the group?

Yes. We are as flexible as possible when making changes to group bookings, however admin charges may apply.

If my group size reduces, will I lose the deposits paid?

If people drop out they will lose their deposits and any free places may also be affected. After 10 weeks to departure the cancellation fees will increase.

How many group free places am I entitled to?

Please see our Group Free Places Grid to see how many free places you are entitled to on each departure date.

When do I have to provide all the names for my group?

For our charter flights we need the names by 10 weeks to departure. For any train bookings we need the names at time of confirmation in order to book the seats with our supplier.

When do I get my tickets?

We simply send an E-Travel Itinerary to the party leader that acts as your tickets. This can be printed out and presented along with valid passports at the check-in desk. The E-Travel Itinerary is sent 5 weeks before departure.

What should I check on my tickets?

Please check that the holiday details are correct e.g. dates, accommodation and rooming and that the names are spelt as per the passport.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes. It is a condition of travel with Skiworld that you have adequate ski travel insurance valid from the time of booking to the date of return. Please see our Wintersports Insurance page for more information.

Can I book my groups ski hire with you?

Yes. You can either book your ski hire online or you can call us and we can add any ski packs to your booking for you. For more information please see our Ski Packs page.

Can I pre-book lift passes?

Yes. Lift passes can either be booked online through My Skiworld or please call us and we will be able to quote for the latest Lift pass prices and add them to your group booking. More details can be found on Ski Packs page.

What is the luggage allowance and can I take my own equipment?

The majority of our charter flights allow 1 main bag and 1 boot bag to be checked into the hold providing the combined weight limit does not exceed 20kgs. You are then allowed 1 piece of hand luggage as per the airports current restrictions. Skis or boards can be taken on our charter flights at a cost of £35 each if pre paid or £45 each payable at the airport.
